These Terms govern access to Intent’s lead-research and outreach software. By creating an account or using Intent, you agree to them.
1. The service
Intent helps customers research businesses and public buying signals, identify publicly available business contact routes, prepare outreach, connect a mailbox and schedule messages. Search results, contact details, classifications and delivery estimates can be incomplete or inaccurate. Intent does not guarantee leads, replies, sales, email delivery or legal compliance.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure and use the service only for a business or professional purpose. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you allow to use it.
3. Responsible outreach
You decide whom to contact, what to send and whether you have a lawful basis or permission to do so. You must comply with privacy, direct-marketing, anti-spam and consumer-protection laws that apply to you and each recipient. You must use truthful sender details and subjects, include the required business identity and postal address, respect suppression and opt-out records, and stop contacting anyone who objects.
You may not use Intent for spam, deceptive messages, unlawful discrimination, harassment, purchased personal-email lists, credential abuse, malware, phishing, impersonation, or contacting people where the source or context makes outreach inappropriate. You may not bypass sending limits, suppression controls or access restrictions.
4. Connected services
If you connect a mailbox or another third-party service, you authorize Intent and its integration providers to access that service only as needed to perform the actions you request. Third-party terms also apply. You can disconnect a mailbox, but messages already transmitted cannot be recalled.
5. Public-source data
Intent uses public websites, public search results and accessible public discussions. You must review the evidence before relying on it. You may not use the service to access private communities, evade authentication or access controls, or build sensitive profiles about individuals.
6. Fees and credits
Paid plans are billed through the checkout provider shown at purchase. Prices, included research credits and renewal periods are displayed before checkout. Credits measure research work, are not money, and have no cash value. Failed or unconfirmed research may be returned where the product states this. Except where law requires otherwise, completed research and used credits are non-refundable.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of product information, campaign content and other material you submit. You grant Intent the limited right to process it to provide, secure and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to provide that material.
8. Acceptable use and suspension
We may limit or suspend access where necessary to protect recipients, customers, providers or the service; investigate abuse; comply with law; or prevent security and deliverability harm. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
9. Availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Providers and public sources can change, block access or return incomplete information. We may change or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intent is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities, deliverability damage, or decisions based on research results. Intent’s aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Termination
You may stop using Intent at any time. We may terminate or suspend an account for material breach, abuse, non-payment or legal risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including payment, ownership, disclaimers and liability—remain in effect.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without limiting any mandatory rights you have under another applicable law. Before formal proceedings, both sides will try in good faith to resolve a dispute directly.
